Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Texas
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate shipment documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Manage load securement and proper handling of specialized freight
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Familiarity with Texas highway systems and regional routes
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
