Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for weekend deliveries in PA/NJ/DE region
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with dispatch team using onboard telematics
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries within designated territories
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday, 6am-6pm)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Philadelphia metro area routes
- Hazmat certification preferred
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
