Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans on designated routes throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling equipment efficiently.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during drop-offs and pickups.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding traffic delays and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B with appropriate endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, Double/Triple Trailer).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or serious traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (Drug Screen and Background Check required).
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, road safety, and navigation.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent schedule.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
