Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated weekend routes
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Complete electronic logs and pre/post-trip inspections
- Maintain constant communication with dispatch
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Deliver freight to commercial and residential locations
- Operate in all weather conditions with professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 2+ years OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Virginia roadways
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early weekend start times (4-5 AM)
- Basic computer literacy for e-logging
