Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate HOS logs
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology for on-time deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Document incidents and submit timely reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat materials (preferred)
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization knowledge
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
