Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Pennsylvania and neighboring states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols for all transport operations
- Efficiently manage delivery schedules and optimize route planning for maximum productivity
- Maintain accurate trip documentation including logs, manifests, and delivery confirmations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and load coordination
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass company physical
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and regional highway systems
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts as required
