Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of hours of service (HOS) and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff regarding schedules and delays.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents or DUIs in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
