Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers to transport goods safely and efficiently across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and meet delivery deadlines
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Assist in securing cargo and maintaining proper weight distribution
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Indiana/Illinois roadways and regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must pass background check and MVR verification
