Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) on assigned routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo while adhering to weight distribution and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to HOS rules.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving operations.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and handle cargo straps.
- Strong time management, navigation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.
