Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight transport
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance with DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure optimal safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and scheduling requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Texas/California transportation regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekend shifts
