Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and HOS compliance at all times
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Implement defensive driving practices in all weather conditions
- Utilize electronic logging systems for real-time tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Texas/California route navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance protocols
- Excellent time management and communication skills
