Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van and refrigerated) for regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes and manage delivery schedules within tight deadlines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time route adjustments and load tracking
- Verify cargo documentation and secure loads according to industry standards
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and comply with Hours of Service rules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR report with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat materials (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Strong navigation skills using GPS and route planning tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
