Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring secure handling of freight.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and DOT compliance documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines without compromising safety.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on position).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and a commitment to safety.
