Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently across regional routes.
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and delivered in pristine condition.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD) logs and delivery receipts.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR or regional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of DOT hours of service (HOS) regulations.
- Excellent time management and navigation skills.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules and occasional overtime.
