Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles across Texas routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment and safety protocols
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems while adhering to DOT regulations
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety standards
- Complete required documentation and paperwork accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
