Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight transport
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure on-time deliveries and exceptional service
- Load/unload cargo with proper material handling techniques
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time tracking and route optimization
- Uphold strict safety protocols and represent our company professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Knowledge of Texas highway regulations and border crossings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips as needed
