Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, flatbed, or refrigerated) following FMCSA regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and document maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to company safety policies and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning starts and weekend shifts
- Basic knowledge of cargo securing requirements
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Must be at least 23 years old
