Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across the continental US
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient load planning and delivery timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Utilize electronic logging systems and GPS technology for route optimization
- Report maintenance issues promptly and participate in preventative maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules as needed
