Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers)
- Execute multi-state routes with on-time delivery rates >98%
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and DOT compliance documentation
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for optimal routing
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle performance metrics
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience or equivalent regional driving
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and climb trailer decks
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with ELD systems and basic navigation apps
- Flexibility for overnight trips (1-2 nights/week)
- Pass background check and TSA clearance
