Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight throughout Indiana and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper securement techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be 23+ years of age with clean background check
