Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on regional routes including coverage in North Carolina.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and legal hours-of-service (HOS) logs and paperwork.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable truck driving experience (Hazmat preferred).
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
