Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and local routes
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Transport high-value technology equipment and consumer goods
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for optimal route planning and delivery schedules
- Ensure cargo security and proper loading/unloading procedures
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations and California state traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Proficient in electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Excellent communication and time management skills
