Responsibilities
- Operate Class 8 trucks to transport freight between San Francisco Bay Area distribution centers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and on-time delivery
- Ensure secure cargo handling and proper documentation of shipments
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and California state driving laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Bay Area geography and delivery procedures
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and time-management abilities
- TWIC card or willingness to obtain
