Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 semi-trucks for regional deliveries (no-touch freight)
- Maintain meticulous trip logs and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with dispatch for optimal route planning and time management
- Uphold strict safety protocols in all driving conditions
- Represent Pacific Fleet Transport with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Proven safe driving history with no major violations
- Familiarity with California highway systems and port operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
