Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight to designated locations using Class A vehicles
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California roadways and weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
