Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight delivery
- Adhere to DOT regulations and conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems while meeting delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Load/unload freight with proper material handling techniques
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding shipment status
- Represent Pacific Freight Solutions with professional conduct at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with California highway systems and regulations
- Basic computer skills for ELD operation and communication
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Customer service orientation and team collaboration mindset
