Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) on regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Central Valley geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Previous tanker/hazmat certification (preferred)
