Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on regional routes throughout Colorado
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload freight with precision and care using provided equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adapt to changing schedules and route conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Perform minor preventative maintenance and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight trips as needed
