Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on regional routes within Pennsylvania and surrounding states
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and securement protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch teams
- Represent Philly Freight Solutions with professionalism during customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area navigation
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends
