Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van) for regional routes within 300 miles
- Pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance documentation
- Deliver freight to distribution centers and retail partners
- Strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Electronic logging (ELD) and route optimization compliance
- Load/unload assistance with team coordination
- Incident reporting and proactive hazard mitigation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- 2+ years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Nashville metro and Southeastern routes
- HazMat certification preferred
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
