Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient delivery routes while meeting strict deadlines
- Maintain detailed logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Perform preventative vehicle maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- 2+ years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of HAZMAT regulations (preferred)
- Strong route navigation skills using GPS systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexible schedule including overnight stays
- Excellent time management and communication skills
