Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight delivery
- Adhere to DOT regulations and pre/post-trip inspection protocols
- Maintain precise delivery schedules with 100% accuracy
- Utilize GPS routing systems for efficient route optimization
- Document mileage, fuel usage, and delivery receipts
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding route conditions and delays
- Uphold strict cargo security and handling standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of regional NC/VA route networks
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning start times (4:00 AM)
