Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Inspect vehicles before/during trips to ensure mechanical safety
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and load management
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Document and report any maintenance issues or delivery discrepancies
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Strong communication skills and time management abilities
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
