Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight on regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Plan efficient routes and manage delivery schedules to meet on-time performance targets
- Document all delivery paperwork and communicate shipment status via electronic logging
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve routing or delivery issues proactively
- Represent Omaha Freight Solutions professionally with all clients and partners
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
