Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers for regional routes within Nebraska and surrounding states
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Represent Heartland Logistics with professionalism in client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic navigation and GPS proficiency
