Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and pre-trip/post-trip log reports (DVIR).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform light maintenance.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and punctuality.
