Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A (Training available for non-CDL holders).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam (Medical Card required).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
- Willingness to undergo CDL training program if necessary.
