Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently across the United States and Canada.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Uphold a professional image at all times while representing the Apex Logistics brand.
Qualifications
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required (we can assist with training if you have a clean driving record).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and be willing to obtain Hazmat or Tanker endorsements if required for the role.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and the ability to work independently.
