Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over various road conditions, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and complete all necessary delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring freight safety and handling customer property with care.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
- Adhere to company policies regarding drug testing, attendance, and professional conduct.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (we offer training if you have a clean driving record).
- Must be willing to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card and pass a drug screen.
- Must have a clean driving record (no major violations or DUIs within the last 3-5 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
