Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on local and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean driving record and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Obtain CDL: Must be willing to get your Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) through our training program.
- Valid Driver's License: A current and valid driver's license is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to navigate GPS systems.
- Time Management: Ability to meet delivery schedules and manage time efficiently.
