Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all DOT regulations.
- Load and secure cargo using straps, chains, and tarps (for flatbed).
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Maintain accurate HOS (Hours of Service) logs and paperwork.
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining a professional demeanor with customers.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delays.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) or be willing to enroll in our training program.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new safety protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
