Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for regional routes between Charlotte, NC and Georgia
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Transport freight while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery efficiency
- Represent the company professionally at client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
- No prior driving experience required - we train new drivers!
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including overnight trips
- Basic math and navigation skills
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
