Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks to deliver cargo to various destinations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight securely using appropriate tie-downs and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and hours of service logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Strong willingness to learn and obtain training for new drivers.
- Basic English communication skills for clear interaction.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Reliable personal transportation for getting to and from work.
