Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B (or valid state driver's license with willingness to obtain CDL).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clear driving record and clean criminal background history.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor vehicle checks.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
