Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across Northern California
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD compliance)
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Secure cargo and ensure proper handling of specialized freight
- Respond professionally to route adjustments and delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Northern California routes and traffic patterns
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
