Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) for local and regional delivery routes during the night shift.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary paperwork (BOL, manifests).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License required (CDL B considered with specific endorsements).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 8 AM or 11 PM - 7 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
