Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on overnight routes between DC and Ohio
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Handle time-sensitive freight with precision and care
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Manage loading/unloading operations at client facilities
- Resolve route challenges and deliver on tight schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Strong knowledge of DC/Ohio roadways and regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to handle freight up to 75lbs
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends
