Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated night routes within Ohio
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and maintain meticulous DOT compliance documentation
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and minor preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time navigation and route optimization
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse personnel
- Maintain clean, organized cab and secure cargo throughout transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and substance screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation apps
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (8 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
