Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (semi-trucks) for local/regional night routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and pre/post-trip inspection protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision and maintain accurate delivery records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams via electronic logging
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries while maintaining exceptional safety standards
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to optimize route efficiency
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance troubleshooting and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly and withstand physically demanding conditions
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and traffic regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening per federal requirements
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor repairs
- Excellent time management and communication skills
