Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport goods across Louisiana and neighboring states
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules
- Communicate with dispatch team using telematics systems
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations as required
- Document delivery receipts and resolve delivery discrepancies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years' tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat regulations (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana roadways
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
